The Dissection of Mr. Anderson

Mr. Anderson came into the hall in a fast paced manner without a hint of waver. He taught the first 2 hours of my college days. He seemed angry and yet kind. It was confusing.

Mr. Anderson teaches with zeal, though just slightly less strong. He thinks he teaches in a manner that people can remember from just hearing it once, but sadly, memorising names of paintings and artists isn't that easy. But Mr. Anderson is a good lecturer.

Mr. Anderson says things on his mind in a straight-forwardly manner. Usually in a way of constructive criticism, with the intention of pointing out the flaws of the student so that they'll know what to improve on.

Mr. Anderson thinks of his students. He cares for them. Rarely do I see this sincere emotion of a teacher/lecturer. Though most are still sincere, there's none who really say it with such heartfelt feelings.

Mr. Anderson may have flaws and may have hurt people, but he has good intentions. The last class I had with Mr. Anderson felt like dinners held at the ends of Primary and Secondary school days. That one day showed who he really is. Mr. Anderson judged our works --students who are just in their 1st semester of college-- not by our skills but by the effort, thoughts, and meaning behind them. He didn't fail a group of students because of their half-hearted work, but he understood their situation and wanted them to pass the subject.

This is my History of Art and Design lecturer, the one who calls himself, Darth Vader.

This is Mr. Anderson's profile pic. Coincidentally, the one on the left is me, and on the right is Cheau Hui.
